Now, helpline for employees of essential services

Hyderabad: Employees of the essential services sector can use the Hyderabad police helpline: 040-23434343, if they face difficulties during commutation in the the city.

Hyderabad police in press note said that that the 24- hour helpline can be used in case of any hindrance to movement. “The officers will also co-ordinate the movement of vehicles from one district to another. It will facilitate loading, unloading and further distribution of goods to the last end,” the press note stated.

Meanwhile, for the benefit of essential service providers, electronic passes will be issued by city police. The department is in the process of working out modalities. “All essential service providers can apply for individual and vehicles passes. The details will be on city police Facebook page,” officials said.
