HYDERABAD: The Begumpet police on Wednesday arrested a notorious vehicle- lifter Mohammad Pasha alias ‘Mohammad Ameer’ and recovered Rs 3.75 lakh worth vehicles, including a Maruti 800, six motorcycles and a colour television.
The accused, a resident of Shaikpet, was working as a plumber, according to an official release issued here on Thursday.
According to deputy commissioner of police (North Zone) M Shiva Prasad, Pasha was arrested while making a bid to steal a Bajaj Boxer bike at Shyamlal Building in Begumpet.

On interrogation, he confessed to having involved in vehicle thefts at various places in the city. Police produced him before the XI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court for judicial remand, the release added.
