"It is unfortunate to read such reports when the probe is on. Ours is a big family with close to 700 members belonging to different castes and religions. Many stay in different countries. We meet once in a year. Like in any family, differences do come up, too, but that does not mean we kill someone within the family," she said. "My father was working to ensure Jagan became the chief minister. Rumours that my father was killed because of differences within the family are rubbish. How can we expect a fair investigation if people from the SIT team make such remarks and try to influence the probe," she said.

"Immediately after my father's death was reported, many including family members, well-wishers and the police reached our residence. Almost everyone who reached here and saw him dead were in a shock. Whether it was done deliberately or not would come out in the SIT investigation," she said. "I hope the forensic team finds out whether the letter given to the SIT was written by Vivekananda," Sunitha added.
