The trio has been identified as Naveen Reddy, B Chandrasekhar Reddy and T Rajeswar Reddy. Police said Naveen finished his engineering from NIT-Patna and on the directions of the other two accused, who are his relatives, procured a pistol and live rounds from a person in Patna recently for Rs 40,000 to extort money from the rich people.

Police then tracked the phone number of the accused and arrested them. The accused were produced before the court and sent to judicial remand.
