NIA names 10th accused in Mecca blast case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday named one Amit alias Prince as an accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case.
NIA names 10th accused in Mecca blast case
HYDERABAD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday named one Amit alias Prince as an accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case. According to NIA sleuths, Amit, who has been accused of planting a bomb in the mosque premises, is still at large. Amit would be the 10th accused in the blast case. Meanwhile, a local court on Wednesday granted bail to Tejaram, a native of MP, presently in judicial custody in the case.

He was granted bail since the NIA had failed to file a chargesheet against him within the mandatory 90-day period.
