Neta abuses Koti College V-C, arrested

Hyderabad: A local leader of Goshamahal constituency was arrested on Thursday for allegedly misbehaving with Telangana Mahila Viswavidyalayam (formerly University College for Women, Koti) vice-chancellor.Sultan Bazar police said G Srinivas Yadav entered the chambers of VC M Vijjulatha on July 1 and asked her to felicitate him since he does social services, including providing free education to girl students in Goshamahal. He allegedly claimed that he was going to contest from Goshamahal in the ensuing assembly polls. “Then, she suggested that if he can sponsor some economically and socially weak students, it will be beneficial to them. He became angry and started making accusations at her,” cops said. When she asked him to leave chambers, he allegedly created nuisance. tnn
