Hyderabad: The first rank in the Intermediate public examination-2003 went to a student from Pallavi Ratnam Junior College in Nellore who scored 985 marks.

Hyderabad: The first rank in the Intermediate public examination-2003 went to a student from Pallavi Ratnam Junior College in Nellore who scored 985 marks. However, students from two colleges in the city took the second place scoring 984 marks.
The students who took the lead in the city were K Sukeerth Kumar Reddy of Vignan Vidyalayam Jr College at Hafizpet, Kondapur and P Pranith Reddy of St Patricks Junior College at Nallakunta.

Both are from the MPC group and scored 984 marks.
Speaking to The Times of India on Sunday, Pranith Reddy said he attended the classes regularly and it was due to the support of his teachers and parents that he performed well. “Last year, I scored 98 per cent and this year 98.4 per cent. But I did not expect to get top ranks,� he said. He has appeared for the All India Engineering Entrance Examination on Sunday and said that he had done well. College principal Dr Vishwanath Rao said Praneeth had full attendance and had been performing well in all his exams.
Apart from these two colleges, five other junior colleges in the state also had second rank holders. They include Vikas Mahila Junior College, Visakhapatnam, Pratibha Junior College, Ongole, SR College, Hanamkonda, Vivek College, Tenali and Vignan Junior College, Guntur.
Ten students from Vignan scored top ranks including second, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth. The fourth rank holders include G Venkat Dilip Chowdary, I Krishnam Raju and M Rajendra all MPC students. The fifth rankers include I Hari Chandan, S Nitin, M Vishnu Sanjit, G Chandana of MPC and T Ashwini, a BiPC student.
A student of the same college B Sirisha got the sixth rank. The seventh rank holders include A Srinivasa Reddy, Ankur Grover, R Vikram, Uday Bhaskar R and M Snigdha, all from the MPC group. Three students from Ratna Junior College, Narayanguda got the eighth, ninth and tenth ranks respectively.
