Narapally-Uppal flyover to be ready by Dasara 2026

HYDERABAD: Roads and buildings minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday said the under-construction Uppal-Narapally flyover will be opened to motorists by Dasara 2026. Once completed, the 6.2-km-long facility will be the second-longest in the state, after the PV Narasimha Rao expressway, which stretches 11.6 km.

"The flyover, initiated nearly eight years agofaced significant delays due to financial constraints, administrative hurdles, and other factors. "As part of our efforts to expedite the project, we convinced the Centre to replace the existing contractor. This change has accelerated construction pace. We want to open this flyover before Dasara next year," the minister said.
