Nagender an opportunist: Congress

HYDERABAD: In a damage control exercise, backward classes wing of Telangana Congress party on Sunday convened a meeting of party senior leaders and charged Danam Nagender of being an opportunist, interested only in personal gains.


Reacting sharply to allegations made by Nagender that BCs are not allowed to grow politically by a section of

caste

dominating Congress, Ponnam Prabhakar said the first PCC president of Telangana State was a BC leader. “TRS minister had once accused Danam nagender of being a land grabber. Why have they now allowed him to join TRS,” he asked.
