CHIRALA: Mystery shrouds the death of three students in Prakasam district. While the bodies of two students were found on the terrace of a junior college late on Sunday night, the body of the third student was found on the railway tracks near Vetapalem on Monday.
Police entered the scene immediately after the watchman of the Bandla Bapaiah Hindu Junior College alerted them after noticing two teenager youths lying in an unconscious state.

Though police rushed them to the nearby hospital, they were declared brought dead. Liquor bottles, glasses and some powder were found beside the bodies. The boys were identified as G Manoj (17) and K Sudheer (17), who completed their junior intermediate from different colleges in Chirala town.
Initially, police suspected that the students might have committed suicide due to alleged love failure. But the presence of three glasses on the college terrace made the cops zero in on the third boy. When they did not find him at his Vetapalem home, the constables reportedly told the parents to bring him to the police station once he returns.
However, a few hours later, body of a youth was found on the railway tracks, which later turned out to be that of the third student, Dasari Anil (17). SI Nimmagadda Satyanarayana said the bodies were sent for a post-mortem. "The autopsy report could give us further leads to probe the case," he said, adding that they were looking at the role of others.
The three boys were batchmates in the high school, but Anil lagged behind the other two as he failed the SSC exam last year and completed his 10th class recently. It is learnt Anil invited his two friends for a party as he wanted to celebrate his success in the 10th supplementary exams. "We are also looking at Anil's jealousy factor against his two friends as they were a year ahead of him in studies," a police official said.

Meanwhile, various theories are floating around over the deaths of the boys.
One theory was that all the three planned to end their lives and were ready to consume the poisoned liquor but Anil left the college out of fear. But he ultimately committed suicide on the railway track.
The other theory which the police are working on is that Anil might have masterminded the killing of the other two. "He was left with no choice and could have resorted to suicide upon learning that cops are searching for him," the police official said.
Manoj's father works as a school teacher, while the parents of the other two work at a cloth dyeing unit. Police said they found the chemical powder used to mix the colours before dyeing the clothes on the college terrace.
