Morning fog: 2 on way to play cricket die in car crash
Hyderabad: Two people died, and two others were injured after the car they were travelling in rammed into a median near Moula Ali early on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Ashrith Reddy (23) and Balaji Shiva Sai Patel (23), both software professionals. The injured, Srikanth and Rahul, are undergoing treatment in the hospital, and their health condition is said to be stable.According to the Lalaguda sub-inspector Y Yugandhar, the four friends, all residents of Malkajgiri, had planned to play cricket at a local playground in Tarnaka. They started from home at around 5.30 am, and upon reaching Isakabavi, Ashrith, who was behind the wheel, lost control of the car and rammed into the median. While Ashrith died on the spot, Balaji succumbed to injuries during treatment."Based on the statement given by the survivors, early morning fog led to the accident as the driver did not have clear visibility," the police said.
