Bansod won the men’s and women’s titles in the the BAI Series senior ranking tournament at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy here on Thursday.Second seed Malvika caused a minor upset when she defeated top seed and last week's winner Aakarshi Kashyap 21-15, 21-9 in the final. Mithun, 23, halted the brilliant run of Aditya Joshi 21-15, 21-4 in the men's final. Former world junior No.1 Joshi came through as a qualifier and defeated several fancied players before falling at the final hurdle.Wildcards Rohan Kapoor
and Sanjana Santosh defeated Dhruv Santosh and Shikha Gautam 21-14, 21-13 to pocket the mixeddoubles
title.
