Minister denies tearing down of cinema poster

tirupati: information minister n siva prasad on saturday denied news report in which it was alleged that he tore down a wall poster of a movie on friday. a section of the press on saturday reported that siv prasad tore down a poster of a popular telugu movie narasimha naidu while travelling by road. the issue assumed significant as the film stars balakrishna, the brother-in-law of chief minister n chandrababu naidu.siva prasad, addressing reporters here, said certain vested interests were bent upon maligning his image deliberately. he also said he had already explained about the issue to chandrababu naidu over telephone. meanwhile, it was learnt that balakrishna contacted rammurthy naidu, brother of the chief minister over the flare up.
