Marut Drones & SkyDrive ink MoU to launch flying taxis

Hyderabad: Dronetech startup Marut Drones has joined hands with Japanese electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturer SkyDrive for developing a futuristic Indian air transportation sector with flying taxis.
The MoU inked by them is expected to open up new avenues for business development and exploration of opportunities in emerging field of eVTOL aircraft, Marut Drones said on Tuesday. The two players will collaborate on business development and integration of cutting-edge eVTOL technology.
Marut Drones will play a key role in the establishment of eVTOL operator functions and research on the initial use of short-distance flying in India.
Marut Drones will also help in establishing connections with potential customers and networks for SkyDrive, including engaging with government bodies, securing airfields, and collaborating with essential infrastructure providers. tnn
