HYDERABAD: To get out of his debts and lead a lavish life, a man planned and executed theft from his younger sister's bank locker. Startling facts came to light when police cracked the theft case at Allahabad Bank and arrested three persons, including the complainant's brother on Tuesday.
Police arrested T Raghavendra Prasad, Sri Lakshmi and K Ramdas of Yellareddyguda, for committing theft through impersonation from O Vijaya Lakshmi's locker in Allahabad Bank.

Raghavendra Prasad has been jobless for a long time and to lead a lavish lifestyle borrowed money from many people.
To get out of the debts, Raghavendra, along with his friends Sri Lakshmi, 36, and K Ramdas, planned to commit theft from his sister's bank locker.
As part of the plan, on April 21, Raghavendra Prasad, stole the bank locker key from Vijaya Lakshmi's purse and took Sri Lakshmi to Allahabad Bank at Yellareddyguda.
"Posing as Vijaya Lakshmi, Sri Lakshmi, opened the bank locker," detective inspector, SR Nagar, Asad Ali said.
Vijaya Lakshmi, came to know about the theft the next day when she opened the locker and lodged a complaint at SR Nagar police station.
After three months of investigation, police arrested, Raghavendra, Sri Lakshmi and her friend, Ramdas on Tuesday.
The trio, mortgaged, 40 tolas of gold at Mannapuram Finance Company at Paradise and took Rs 2 lakhs.
After the investigation, police recovered 55 tolas of gold.
The accused were produced in the court which remanded them in judicial custody.
