Man kills kids over marital problems

Hyderabad: A labourer allegedly strangled his two children to death at their house in Khammam’s Rayapatnam village on Monday evening. Madhira police launched a manhunt to nab the offender.
Police said the accused, P Shiva Ram Gopal, was upset with his wife for staying separately with their children — Ramakrishna, 8, and Aradhya, 6. “Gopal had threatened to kill her and the children,” Madhira inspector Vasanth Kumar said.“The two children were found wrapped in a blanket in Gopal’s house. We suspect that Gopal had strangled them. Our teams are trying to trace the accused,” Vasanth said.tnn
