Make a BC TPCC chief, says VHR

Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee secretary V Hanumanth Rao on Friday reiterated his demand that a candidate from Backward Classes (BCs) community should be appointed as Telangana Congress president.

“ BCs comprise over 52% of the population in Telangana. A BC leader should be made PCC president with an eye on BC vote bank,” Rao said.

Rao demanded that AICC leadership take an opinion poll to select a candidate for TPCC chief post. TNN
