HYDERABAD: The government on Tuesday affected yet another major reshuffle of IAS officers and posted new collectors for Khammam and Srikakulam districts.
Chaya Ratan, presently principal secretary, animal husbandry and fisheries department, has been posted as principal secretary medical and health, after Rachel Chatterjee was transferred and posted as chairman and managing director, AP Transco.
P Ramakanth Reddy, who was shifted under controversial circumstances replaces Chaya Ratan.
D Muralikrishna, principal secretary, home, is transferred and posted as principal secretary, state administrative reforms, considered as an insignificant post, while A K Tigidi, principal secretary, medical and health goes in the place of Muralikrishna.
Arvind Kumar, IAS, presently joint commissioner, commercial taxes is posted as collector of Khammam replacing A Giridhar, IAS, who has done a long stint in the district. Giridhar is posted as commissioner, transport after Rajiv Sharma sought a shift from the department to pollution control board.
K Vijayanand, IAS, joint collector, Ranga Reddy district will be the new collector, Srikakulam,which is vacant, after the transfer of K S Jawahar Reddy to East Godavari.
Binoy Kumar, secretary (co-ordination) will replace A K Kutty, IAS, secretary (political), General Administration Department,who will be going on central deputation and join the power department. Two more senior IAS officer Shiela Bhide and P V Bhide are also drafted for central deputation.
