interchange station and is now recording the highest footfalls daily, said metro rail authorities, on Tuesday. According to them, the number of commuters using the L B Nagar station is seen increasingly every day. On October 22, this station recorded a

footfall

of 14,145 while the Ameerpet metro station recorded a footfall of 13,974.


Other stations that saw high footfalls were

Miyapur

(10,603), Uppal (9,719), KPHB (9,269) and JNTU (8493). A total of 1,90,000 commuters used the Hyderabad metro rail on Monday-showed official figures. Speaking post a review meeting, on providing additional facilities at metro stations, held on Tuesday N V S Reddy, managing director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) said the feedback received from passengers, thus far, has been very satisfactory. The few minor complaints that have come through are from those using the Miyapur Metro route.

"While more than 1.25 lakh passengers travel on Corridor -I between Nagole and Miyapur, more than 50,000 commuters use Corridor -III, between Nagole and Ameerpet, on a daily basis," said Reddy.
