Lalith, Ahwinan and Shashank wreak havoc

Hyderabad: Sai Lalith Preetham fashioned Team Speed’s eight-wicket win over Deccan Arsenals in the HCA B Division two-day league match here on Thursday. Sai Lalith scalped six for 18 as Arsenals were shot out for 98 and Team Speed finished the match at 99 for two to complete an emphatic win.
Ahwinan Ram was another successful bowler. His six for 27 helped HUCC defeat Cheerful Chums by six wickets.After dismissing Cheerful Chums for 170, HUCC finished the match at 174 for four. K Kritin chipped in with an unbeaten 75.
S Shashank’s six for 58 helped Rakesh XI defeat CCOB by five wickets with A Mani Kiran’s 114 (112b, 4x13, 6x5) doing the bulk of scoring. CCOB were dismissed for 196 and Rakesh XI replied with 197 for five.
Benjamin Thomas (150*; 173b, 4x17, 6x6) and E Nihaal Reddy (107; 138b, 4x20, 6x2) made merry as Sportive amassed 427 for nine against Nizamabad. K Sree Girish (117; 196b, 4x17) also did well with the bat while Yashas Vijay Patra (5/30) shone with the ball. Concorde were shot out for 161 with Patra doing most of the damage and Deccan Blues finished a five-wicket win.
