According to the Delimitation Commission's 2008 report, Lal Bahadur Nagar Assembly constituency boasts an estimated Scheduled Caste population of 7.56% and a Scheduled Tribe population of 1.54%. The district's literacy rate, encompassing this constituency, stands at 71.88% as per the 2011 Census of India.
As of the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections, the constituency had 5,66,814 eligible electors, comprising 2,96,017 males, 2,70,696 females, and 101 voters registered as the third gender.
During the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Devi Reddy Sudheer Reddy secured victory in this seat by defeating Muddagowni Ram Mohan Goud of TRS with a margin of 17,848 votes, equivalent to 7.3% of the total votes cast. Goud got a total of 96,303 vote which is 39.33% of the total number of votes polled. INC held a vote share of 46.65% in this constituency during the 2018 elections.
