HYDERABAD: After a long delay, chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly finalised the new Tirumala Tirupati Devesthanams (TTD) board. According to sources, Chadalavada Krishnamurthy is to be the chairman of the board and Nita Ambani of the Reliance Industries Ltd one of the 18 members.
The other members are likely to be TDP MLAs Bala Veeranjaneya Swami, Pilli Anantha Lakhsmi, Kolla Lalitha Kumari, G Shyam Sundar Sivaji, Y Srinivasa Rao, P Narayana Swamy, Bonda Uma Maheswar Rao, Ganni Anjaneyulu, and TDP party office secretary P Ramana.
While BJP leaders Akula Satyanarayana and Bhanu Prakash Reddy will make it from the AP quota, Telangana is to be represented by Chintala Ramachandra Reddy (BJP MLA), G Sayanna (TDP) and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah (TDP MLA).
Apart from these names, Ramaswamy, said to be close to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, may find himself in the board. The term of the previous
TTD board ended on August 24, 2014, and the temple administration since then has been run by a specified authority headed by the endowments principal secretary, AP. The GO constituting the TTD board is likely to be issued in a couple of days.
