HYDERABAD: Following a categorical statement made by Telangana government that it would not allow any constructions in the Kothaguda reserve forest in Rangareddy district, chief justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and justice Sanjay Kumar of the Hyderabad high court on Monday announced that the case has been closed.
The petitioner, Lumbini SLN Springs welfare association, who made a plea against commercialization of this reserve forest, told court that its grievance was fully redressed.

Earlier, Delaraa Tourism Corporation Ltd, TRAC India Pvt. Ltd and Hyderabad Birdpark and Gardens Pvt Ltd were permitted to do development work in the area, though the petitioner objected to it.
