Hyderabad: Congress Lok Sabha member from Bhuvanagiri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday found fault with the chief minister’s office and the state government for not inviting him to the inauguration of renovated Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.
Speaking to media persons,
Venkat Reddy said while the ministers, MPs, MLCs and MLAs from the ruling TRS were invited for the inauguration, he was not extended an invitation, though he is the local MP, which is a violation of the protocol.
“The temple is located in my constituency. I am the local MP and should have been invited. It is painful that chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao indulged in mean politics on a matter concerning god,” Venkat Reddy said. tnn
