Kodandaram in police custody

Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samithi founder and president M Kodandaram was taken into police custody when he was on his way to Amrabad on Saturday to participate in the protest programmes against uranium mining in Nallamalla forest.

Tension prevailed at Hajipur when the police took Kodandaram into their custody. Heated There was a minor scuffle between locals and the police during which some locals were injured. Amidst the tension, Kodandaram was shifted to Achampet police station. tnn
