KCR’s 5-day yagam begins, 300 seers perform rituals
Hyderabad: A five-day
Over 300 seers participated in the yagam, where KCR and his wife Shobha took part in the rituals of the “Sahasra Chandi yagam” for three hours.

Sringeri peetam seer Tangirala Sitarama Sastry from Karnataka, Madugula Manikya Somayajulu, Rig Veda pandit Narendra Kapre and other prominent seers performed the yagam along with other ritwiks who performed the Durga saptsati parayanam. A special vehicle with 1,000 modaks was made for the occasion.
