HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday promised to develop Narayankhed assembly constituency on the lines of Hyderabad.
“It is your responsibility to repeat the Hyderabad result (GHMC polls), and it is my responsibility to turn Narayankhed into Hyderabad,“ KCR told the voters while he addressed a well-attended meeting at Narayankhed.

Bypoll is being held for the Narayankhed assembly constituency due to death of the sitting MLA P Kishta Reddy in August last year. The polling is slated for February 13.
Irrigation minister T Harish Rao, who is leading the TRS poll campaign, has promised that Narayankhed would be developed on lines of Siddipet constituency . Responding to this, the chief minister said, “I am committed to fulfil the promises made by Harish Rao. Narayankhed will see all the amenities that Siddipet has.“
M Bhoopal Reddy is contesting on the TRS ticket. The TRS is locked in a triangular contest with Congress and TDP. The Congress has fielded Kishta Reddy's son Sanjeev Reddy , while M Vijaypal Reddy is the TDP candidate.
