KCR & Chinna Jeeyar to attend Valmidi event on September 4

Hyderabad: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and seer Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy will participate in a programme on September 4 at Valmidi in Palakurthy assembly constituency in Warangal district. CM KCR and Jeeyar Swamy last met in January 2022 to oversee the arrangements of unveiling of statue of equality at Muchintal at Jeeyar Ashram in Shamshabad in February 2022.
Prime minister Narendra Modi participated in the programme and unveiled the 216-feet-tall statue of Ramanuja on February 5. Angry over his name being removed from the plaque, KCR did not attend the even and later did not invite Chinna Jeeyar Swamy for inauguration of the renovated Yadadri temple in March 2022.
Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao held a meeting with officials on Wednesday on the installation of Valmidi Sri Seetharamchandra Swamy statues and other rituals in the villages and confirmed that both KCR and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy would be participating in the programme. Over 30,000 people are expected to take part in the programme in Valmidi.
CM KCR will lay foundation stone for some works such as tourism hotel being constructed at Palakurthy at a cost of 25 crore, inaugurate a guest house at Mission Bhagiratha office and other programmes. The minister directed the officials to prepare proposals for a rope way between Munulorigutta and Ramulorigutta. A Vedic school in Valmidi is also being proposed.
