KCR blows 2019 election bugle with 'Bangaru Telangana' cry

Listing out the welfare acti vities taken up by the government, KCR said: “Telangana is the only state in the country which has been spending '40,000 crore on welfare schemes and ensuring that 40 lakh poor old people get pensions.“
He spoke about the sheep rearing scheme that he recently announced for the Yadav, Golla and Kuruma families and said it will generate a revenue of '20,000 crore, which would be equal to the budget of four to five north-eastern states put together.
KCR said on the free fertilizer scheme, the farmers would get their first instalment of '4,000 by May 15 and the second installment by October 15 in their bank accounts. They can use it for fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and coolies.

Chandrasekhar Rao elaborated on the various welfare schemes launched by his government and assailed the Congress for coming in the way of the irrigation projects.
