KCR bats for dialogue with Naxals, says will write to Centre
Hyderabad: Former chief minister K Chandrasekar Rao announced on Sunday that his party would write to the Centre, urging them to stop Operation Kagar against Naxalites and to open dialogue with them.
Speaking at the public meeting in Elkathurthy, Hanumakonda, as part of the silver jubilee celebrations of BRS, he stated, "It is wrong to kill tribals in Chhattisgarh and the border areas indiscriminately. While the army can operate with force, that approach is not democratic. It is better to engage in dialogue, as they are willing to talk."

During his speech, KCR sought input from the public attending the meeting, emphasising that their responses would be considered a resolution of the party and that a letter would be sent to the Centre. He also slammed the NDA govt at the Centre, claiming that Telangana had not received even 11 rupees in the 11 years of NDA rule.
"In fact, the NDA govt took away seven villages from Telangana and transferred them to Andhra Pradesh for the Polavaram project. They are also responsible for the Sileru project rights being taken away from Telangana," the BRS chief said.
