K T Rama Rao on Wednesday wished Tamil actor
Kamal Haasan should become a ‘Nayakan’ in real life too as was his screen portrayal in a 1987 film with the same title.
Kamal Haasan was scheduled to launch his party in Madurai on Wednesday evening, but the Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao who was invited for it did not go.

KTR ji. Your presence will be missed. There might be more occasions for you to grace our functions in the future. Please find time for us amidst your busy schedule," Kamal Haasan said in response to KTR informing him about his inability to be there.
Earlier, the minister tweeted saying: Thanks for inviting me to be a part of your political foray in Madurai today. Can’t be there physically but wish you good luck in your new innings. Hope the real life ‘Nayakan’ also does well," KTR said.
Kamal Haasan who usually sticks to tweeting in Tamil tweeted to the minister in English.
K T Rama Rao had several engagements in the city as the World IT conference is currently on in the city. Moreover, his aunt - Vimala Bai - sister of chief minsiter K Chandrasekhar Rao - passed away. He rushed to her house on learning about the death.
