Kalyani, Shyam Sunder emerge best athletes

hyderabad: k shyam sunder of sai sports training centre (medak) and a kalyani of guntur district emerged best boy and girl athletes respectively in the under-20 section as the curtain came down in the two-day junior inter-district athletic meet at the railway grounds here on sunday. srikakulam boys and krishna girls walked away with the team champioship titles.srikakulam and krishna logged 52 points each. hyderabad boys and girls came runners-up totalling 49 and 37 points respectively. in the under-18 category, hyderabad's krishna mohan and rangareddy's saraswathi were declared best athletes. k appa rao and k salomi of rangareddy district baged the 'best athletes' in the under-16 category. chief guest,mv dinakar prasad, dcp traffic, distributed the prizes.
