T Jeevan Reddy asks state to help farmers

HYDERABAD: Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy said the state government should procure paddy and other crops damaged by the rains.

In a letter to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Reddy said the unseasonal rains in many parts of the state resulted in damage of crops. “Please ensure that all damaged agriculture produce of the

farmers

is procured by the government directly or through various state and central government agencies,” he said.
