HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh's chief minister-designate Jagan Mohan Reddy's friends and former classmates from

Hyderabad Public School

are beaming with pride after his party's emphatic win in the recently-held assembly elections.

Jagan achieved his goal, nearly a decade after he aspired for the top post in the state following the death of his father and then chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhara Reddy, in a helicopter crash.

Jagan received a rousing welcome When he visited Hyderabad to meet governor ESL Narasimhan and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

But he was particular surprised by posters and banners that were put up on Metro pillars by his former classmates.
