Inter student run over by city bus
An Intermediate student on his way to college was run over by an APSRTC bus at Old Bowenpally on Thursday morning.
Ajay was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in the afternoon.
Agitated by the incident, an angry mob pelted two buses, including the one that killed the student, with stones. "The windshields and window panes of the vehicles were partially damaged. Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control," Ganesh Reddy said.
Police registered a case against the bus driver who is absconding.
