HYDERABAD: The 17th edition of the India IT show, the flagship IT event of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), will attract over 400 foreign buyers, said organisers. Speaking at an event in the city on Friday, to announce the dates of the IT show,
Deepak Sareen, executive director, ESC, said “Keeping in tune with the focus laid down by the government for promoting startups in the digital domain, we expect a lot of small and mid-size companies to participate at the show to familiarise themselves with the requirements of foreign buyers.“
IT secretary, Jayesh Ranjan, said, “Hyderabad is the Mecca for IT industries in Telangana as `60,000 crore worth of IT products are being exported from the city every year.
The Telangana government has already taken initiative to bring this figure to `1.2 lakh crore“. The show, where close to 250 Indian ICT firms will display their products and solutions, will be held in Hyderabad on February 13 and 14, in 2017.International delegates from Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Korea and several other countries are expected to attend the show.
