IAS official's transfer cancelled

hyderabad: in a sudden move, the state government has cancelled the posting orders of v nagi reddy, ias, who was transferred from the andhra pradesh cooperative bank (apcob) recently. in the much-awaited reshuffle of ias officials, the government shifted nagi reddy and posted him as the registrar of cooperative societies replacing d srinivasulu, who was shifted to the panchayat raj department.but on second thoughts, the government decided to withhold nagi reddy's transfer and chief minister n chandrababu naidu has reportedly instructed the officials to cancel the posting orders of reddy before leaving on his foreign tour. official sources told the times of india that reddy was informed by the government not to take charge of his new posting. it is said that some powerful leaders of the ruling party prevailed upon the chief minister to cancel the posting orders of nagi reddy as they perceived him to be unpalatable to them. the government it is said has decided to give a new posting to nagi reddy and he is likely to be sent to the panchayat raj department.
