HYDERABAD: A park in Reddy Enclave, Old Alwal of Medchal Malkajgiri district, was protected by HYDRAA. The layout, spanning over 16 acres with 235 plots, came under scrutiny when residents filed a complaint during Prajavani against the layout founder's descendants, who illegally occupied the park space over the past 30 years.Following directives from HYDRAA commissioner AV Ranganath, officials conducted an investigation and verified that 2,640 yards were designated for the park. Subsequently, the authorities cleared the encroachments, installed a fence, and placed a board stating 'Park protected by HYDRAA'.The local community, who advocated for the park's conservation since 2000, expressed their happiness.
