Hyderabad: TRS favours GHMC elections through ballot papers

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has favoured elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) through

and handed over the party’s opinion in the form of letter.

The SEC had asked the opinion of various political parties whether to hold GHMC elections through EVMs or through ballot boxes. The commission asked the parties to inform their opinions before September 30. The SEC also said if any party did not respond, the commission takes it that the party has no opinion on it.
