HYDERABAD: Banjara Hills police registered a second case against main accused Ramachandra Bharathi in the Poachgate case for allegedly being in possession of two passports with different names.
As reported by TOI, based on a complaint of Rajendranagar ACP B Gangadhar, who is the investigating officer in the Poachgate case, Banjara Hills police registered a second case against Ramachandra Bharathi.

During the raid at TRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy's farmhouse in Moinabad on October 26, Cyberabad police had seized a laptop and two cellphones from the possession of Ramachandra Bharathi and sent them to the Telangana State Forensic Science Laboratory for an analysis.
While TSFSL analysis data from the laptop and two mobile phones was retrieved and the iPhone data analysis of the accused was checked, passport page images with No. T96*3**2 with name Shree Ramachandra Swamiji, son of Mahaswami Shree Madwa Dharmadatt Ji, resident of Puttur, Karnataka, were found. However, from the data retrieved from the laptop, passport images were found in the iPhone with a different number and different name - Bharath Kumar Sharma, son of Krishna Murthy Sharma Vulckkunja, resident of Puttur, Kodagu, Karnataka - were found, police said.
As the details on both the passport images of Ramachandra Bharathi differ, as per the complaint of the specual investigation team IO, a forgery case was registered under sections 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC and section 12(3) of the Passport Act against him.
Police have already registered a forgery case against him based on the complaint of Rohith for alleged possession of multiple PAN, Aadhaar cards and driving licences with varying details.

Meanwhile, a petition moved by SIT before the local ACB court seeking custody of the three accused in the Poachgate case and the custody petition moved by Banjara Hills police before another court in a recent case registered against accused K Nanda Kumar have been posted for orders on Thursday.
It is learnt that advocate B Srinivas, who was supposed to appear for questioning on the third day before special investigation team skipped it, citing health issues.
