and her neighbour under the SC&ST Prevention of Atrocities Act (POA) for allegedly using abusive language against the employee of businessman and YSRCP leader

PV Prasad

's family.

The cops registered a case on the orders of a local court.

On February 8, Banjara Hills police had received a court-referred complaint from M Eleesha Babu (42), construction supervisor and driver of Jhansi Sureddi, wife of PV Prasad. Babu had alleged that Shruti abused him in front of all labourers at Prasad's house while he was working in the garden.

Babu had alleged that when he was supervising fencing on the compound wall of Jhansi Sureddi's property on Road No. 7 Banjara Hills on January 16 morning, neighbours Shruti and Vinoda Kailas had trespassed along with a few others and abused him in front of labourers.

FIR states, "The accused pushed the complainant, damaged the working tools, beat him with the help of their security guards. Shruti Reddy also threatened him that if he continued the work, she will kill him." As per Babu's petition and on court direction, police registered a case under SC&ST (POA) Act, IPC sections 323, 336, 341, 384,448, 506.

On January 16, based on complaint of Shruti, Banjara Hills police registered a criminal trespass case against PV Prasad and others for allegedly harassing and intimidating after row over compund wall.
