This technical committee, consisting of engineers and experts, will identify gaps in implementation, evaluate the performance of agencies, and suggest improvements for better road upkeep. The panel will undertake detailed inspections of the heavy-duty machinery, including sweeping, water sprinklers, and maintenance equipment.

"To address worries about sweeping operations and lack of transparency in maintenance activities despite GPS-equipped vehicles, we will be installing cameras on maintenance vehicles. These cameras will record daily operations. The footage will assist agencies in confirming whether operators are properly executing their works and meeting their service agreements," GHMC commissioner K Ilambarithi told TOI.
