Hotelier held for wife’s murder
Hyderabad: Narsingi police arrested Pittla Muthyalu, 38, for killing his wife, Pittla Sunitha, 34, at their residence in Kokapet village, Gandipet. The couple, who ran a hotel business, were married for 16 years and had three children.
Police said Sunitha's relative, Srilatha, lodged a complaint stating that the former called her on Thursday from a neighbour's phone, alledging that Muthyalu was beating her regularly and threatened to kill her before Jan 1, 2025.
Later, Srilatha received a call again from neighbours, informing her that Sunitha was lying in an unconscious state. Srilatha shifted Sunitha to a hospital, where she was declared dead. tnn
