HYDERABAD: A 30-year-old history-sheeter was stabbed to death by his cousin at
Falaknuma
on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Md
Saleem Khan
. The assailant
Mohammed Irfan is also a history-sheeter in Falaknuma.
For the past few months,
Saleem
and Irfan had been at loggerheads due to certain issues. On Sunday night, Saleem went to 786 Hotel at Vattepally, Falaknuma to purchase cigarettes, along with three of his associates. While buying cigarettes, Saleem spotted Irfan sitting at the venue and chewing pan.
The cousins got into an argument and in a fit of rage, Irfan stabbed Saleem twice on his throat with a button knife. Saleem died on the spot. Faluknuma police took Irfan into custody on Monday.
