Hyderabad: Himanshu Jain qualified for the professional snooker circuit. Himanshu is the first Indian to qualify through QSchool and the fifth Indian to gain entry into Pro Circuit World Snooker. Other Indians to play in the World Snooker Pro Circuit are Yasin Merchant, Pankaj Advani, Aditya Mehta and Lucky Vatnani.
Himanshu was the fourth and final qualifier following a dramatic victory against Kritsanut Lertsattaythorn that finished 4-3 on the final pink.

He will become the firt Indian after Aditya Mehta to take part in the main tour. The 30-year-old’s victory means that there will be at least 17 different nationalities competing during the 2022/23 campaign.
A total of four players participated across two qualifying tournaments, the first time a Q School has been held outside of England.
