He urged the bench to hear the Centre's submission before passing any order in any plea against the demonetisation of the `1,000 and ` 500 notes.

A petition filed by an advocate against the demonetisation move was listed for hearing as item number 62, but the Centre's counsel appeared before the bench at 10.30 am and made a request to hear him in the matter.

The bench assured him that it would hear the Centre's account before deciding the issue, and posted the case along with other similar pleas for November 16.
