HC relief for Global Hospitals

Hyderabad: The high court has suspended for 10 days the state’s decision to cancel the licence issued to Gleneagles Global Hospitals at Lakdikapul. Justice A Abhishek Reddy passed this interim order after hearing a plea filed by the hospital. The interim arrangement was made to enable the hospital complete the pending liver transplantation surgeries. The government had cancelled the licence of the hospital following several complaints from people.The hospital in its plea contended that it was not given an opportunity to explain its stand. tnn
