HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad high court on Tuesday issued contempt notices to 13 advocates on charges of vandalizing courts and attacking presiding officers in Warangal and Ranga Reddy courts. The advocates were on strike seeking scrapping of provisional allocation of judicial officers between AP and Telangana.

The bench of Acting CJ Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice U Durga Prasad Rao issued contempt notices to Warangal advocates M Ranjit, Ambati Srinivas, Allam Nagaraju, Andalu, B Jayakar, M Sahodar Reddy, V Syam Krishna, Chilla Rajendra Prasad, T V Ramana, Teegala Jeevan Goud and Akhil Pasha. Similarly two advocates from Ranga Reddy courts - M Ravinder and Bhargav - were issued these notices.
