HC in favour of traffic awareness drive
The bench posted the matter to November 13 and sought a report on the status by then.
While hearing a petition filed by one Dr P Chandrasekhara Rao on civic amenities, the bench, comprising Chief Justice G S Singhvi and Justice C V Nagarjuna Reddy observed that it was also essential for bringing awareness among the vehicle users.
They should be pursuaded not to park their vehicles on roads and thereby add to the traffic chaos, the bench said. It also aksed the authorities to enforce the building laws in a ruthless manner and resort to demolitions wherever neceaary.
The bench posted the matter to November 13 and sought a report on the status by then.
