‘Harassed’ Jagtial civic chief quits

Hyderabad: Internal bickering between Jagtial MLA M Sanjay (BRS) and Jagtial municipal chairperson B Sravani came to the fore on Wednesday. Sravani announced resignation from her post, while breaking down in front of media alleging harassment by BRS legislator for the last three years.She alleged that he was obstructing developmental works in Jagtial and demanding her to inform any developmental and no work should begin without his consent. Alleging that he was acting like a feudal lord and suppressing a BC woman leader, she alleged that MLA was demanding money from her. She claimed that he passed comments about her dressing sense earlier. tnn
